Public transport

The 亚洲影院 Paisley Campus is well served by public transport links. Paisley Gilmour Street and Canal Street train stations are both within a 10 minute walk of campus. There are bus stops within close proximity to the main High Street entrance of campus.

By car

Please note that there is no student parking provided at Paisley Campus, except for blue badge holders. If you intend to drive and park near the campus, please consider car sharing. As well as saving carbon it will reduce your fuel costs - typical savings are around 拢685 a year from East Kilbride and nearly 拢1300 from Cumbernauld.听听

The听听can help you find someone to car share with. If you have an electric vehicle there is a charging point on campus which is currently free of charge.

Travelling from overseas

Travelling to Paisley Campus from overseas

There are two international airports close to our Scottish campuses:听Glasgow International Airport (GLA) and Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK).听If you arrive into London by air you can take a direct flight to Glasgow International Airport or Glasgow Prestwick Airport.听There are frequent services from London听to these airports听and the flight only takes one hour.听听

Alternatively, there are听train services operating from central听London听from where you can access connecting bus, rail and road networks to听our Scottish campuses.

Glasgow International Airport听is situated in Paisley, 10 to 15 minutes by taxi to the University accommodation.听Taxis are available from the front of the airport and can also be called from the airport. Airport staff can assist you if required.

From听Glasgow Prestwick Airport听you can get a train direct to Paisley Gilmour Street train station, taking 40 minutes. All passengers receive discounted rail tickets on proof of air travel (e.g. flight itinerary or boarding pass). You should take the Glasgow bound train which operates approximately every 30 minutes, for most of the day, and every hour on a Sunday.听The听Trainline听website provides information about train times and fares.听

Once you have arrived at Paisley Gilmour Street train station, you can take a taxi from Country Square (outside the station) directly to your听accommodation.听

If your planes arrives into Glasgow Prestwick Airport after the last train to Paisley has left, you will need to take a taxi to Paisley, costing approximately 拢55 to听拢70. Taxis are available from the front of the airport and can also be called from the airport. Airport staff can assist you if required.
